Ticket prices for NHL games in Canadian markets can take quite a chunk out of your wallet, though that isn’t the case when it comes to the Calgary Flames.

Despite being in a tightly-contested race for the final wild-card spot in the Western Conference, fans wanting to attend a Flames game in the near future don’t have to worry about spending ridiculous amounts.

The Flames are currently out on the road but will be back in action at the Saddledome next Tuesday versus the Seattle Kraken. Tickets for this game are very affordable, with the lowest verified resales going for just $31.65 on Ticketmaster. Meanwhile, tickets for Thursday, March 27’s game against a Stanley Cup contender in the Dallas Stars start at only $34.60.

Tickets available for Tuesday’s game between Calgary Flames & Seattle Kraken via Ticketmaster.

These are significantly cheaper than other Canadian markets. For example, the Edmonton Oilers will face the Stars one night before they head to Calgary. The cheapest tickets for that outing at Rogers Place are listed at $94.40. Meanwhile, the Canucks will be in action on Wednesday, April 2, versus the Kraken, with the cheapest tickets going for $86.10.

To no one’s surprise, the most expensive tickets belong to the Toronto Maple Leafs. They will be playing the Philadelphia Flyers (who are one point ahead of the Kraken) in exactly one week. The lowest price available for that outing is currently $115.25.

Ticket prices at the Bell Centre to watch the Montreal Canadiens fall more in line with the Oilers and Canucks. The cheapest seats for their game on Tuesday, April 8, versus the Detroit Red Wings are currently listed at $95.

Even a team like the Winnipeg Jets, who had been struggling with attendance earlier in the season, have higher ticket prices than the Flames. They will be playing one of the NHL’s worst teams, the Buffalo Sabres, this Sunday, with the lowest tickets listed at $64.22

The one team that is in a similar price range to the Flames is the Ottawa Senators. They will welcome the Sabres on Tuesday, April 1, and have tickets that can be bought for just $40.

This serves as a reminder as to how affordable NHL games are to attend in Calgary compared to other markets throughout Canada. Of course, a large part of it is due to having an outdated arena in the Saddledome. Once Scotia Place is fully constructed and ready to go for the 2027-28 campaign, those prices are likely to shift dramatically.
