Calgary Flames ticket prices skyrocket for sold-out final Saddledome game
Anticipation surrounding the Calgary Flames’ upcoming season is much higher than you may think.
While wins may be difficult to come by for this rebuilding Flames squad, it’s not so much the on-ice play that has fans, particularly those in Calgary, so excited to watch games in person. The reasoning, of course, is that the 2026-27 season will be the last time the Flames play out of the Saddledome.
The Flames’ new building, Scotia Place, is set to open its doors for the 2027-28 season. Once it opens, the Saddledome, which has served as the Flames’ home since the 1983-84 campaign, will be demolished a short time later.
On Monday, single-game tickets for the Flames’ 2026-27 season went on sale. While there are plenty of games available for reasonable prices, fans quickly noticed that the final regular-season outing versus the Vancouver Canucks on April 10 was already sold out. The good news for those fans is that there are plenty of resale tickets available, though they won’t come cheap.
The lowest current resale tickets available on Ticketmaster are going for $480 in the second bowl. Meanwhile, the cheapest up for grabs in the press level are listed at $556.80.

There are a few tickets in the lower bowl that are currently being listed at $570, while several other seats are listed for north of $1,000.
Given that we are more than eight months away from that game, prices are certain to fluctuate and likely drop as it gets closer. Either way, it’s obvious that there is plenty of demand to watch what could be the final NHL game ever played at the Saddledome, meaning those who are hoping to get into the building will need to be prepared to pay a pretty penny to do so.
