You won’t find many members or fans of the Calgary Flames upset about the end result of Tuesday night’s Stanley Cup Final.
For the second-straight year, the Edmonton Oilers were unable to pull through, as they fell to the Florida Panthers in Game 6 by a 5-1 final. While those in Edmonton are devastated by the heartbreaking loss, there are plenty of folks just a few hours south who enjoyed watching their bitter rival fall once again.
One individual who was able to watch the game firsthand — and certainly wasn’t upset by the result — was Flames forward Nazem Kadri. The 34-year-old, who was a part of a Colorado Avalanche roster that knocked out the Oilers in the 2022 Western Conference Final, was in attendance to watch the Panthers hoist the Cup.

While Flames fans will certainly love that their 2024-25 leading scorer was in the building to witness the Oilers lose, he appeared to be there on behalf of a partnership with Celsius rather than attempting to troll his provincial rival.

Though Oilers fans have certainly gotten to watch some exciting playoff runs in recent years, Flames fans can sit back with a smile on their face knowing that they have yet to hoist the Stanley Cup with a roster that features two of the game’s greatest talents in Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl.
