6 most in-demand Calgary neighbourhoods right now

A new real estate report just revealed the fastest-selling neighbourhoods in Calgary, and one of them has homes flying off the market in just under two weeks.

The digital real estate platform Wahi just released its February 2026 report on the fastest- and slowest-selling neighbourhoods in the city with at least five sales that month.

Here are the six fastest-selling neighbourhoods in Calgary as of February 2026:

  1. Glendale, with an average of nine days on the market
  2. Tuxedo Park, with an average of 15 days on the market
  3. Cougar Ridge, with an average of 16 days on the market
  4. Chaparral, with an average of 16 days on the market
  5. Mindapore, with an average of 16 days on the market
  6. New Brighton, with an average of 16 days on the market

Glendale took the top spot with homes spending an average of just nine days on the market. Last month, Discovery Ridge took the top spot with homes taking 16 days to sell.

Glendale had the highest median sold price on the list, sitting at $950,000. New Brighton had the lowest median sold price, at $439,000.

On the other hand, Wahi also revealed the slowest-selling neighbourhoods in Calgary, with some neighbourhoods taking over two months to sell homes.

Here are the six slowest-selling neighbourhoods in Calgary as of February 2026:

  1. Eau Claire, with an average of 93 days on the market
  2. Downtown Commercial Core, with an average of 83 days on the market
  3. Hounsfield Heights-Briar Hill, with an average of 78 days on the market
  4. Penbrooke Meadows, with an average of 71 days on the market
  5. Thornecliff, with an average of 63 days on the market
  6. Crescent Heights, with an average of 63 days on the market

Eau Claire took the top spot with homes taking over three months to sell. Downtown Commercial Core came in second, dropping from its first-place spot last month when homes were taking 101 days to sell. 

Hounsfield Heights-Briar Hill has the highest median sold price on the list, at $1,082,500, while Crescent Heights had the lowest, with the median sold price sitting at $293,125.

Wahi also released a report on the most and least expensive neighbourhoods in Calgary, with one neighbourhood having a median sold price of over $2 million.
