These 6 Calgary neighbourhoods are the fastest-selling in the city

Calgary has over 200 neighbourhoods, and some of them have homes flying off the market in under three weeks.

According to the digital real estate platform Wahi, there are six neighbourhoods in Calgary with homes flying off the market faster than others.

Here are the six fastest-selling neighbourhoods in Calgary as of October:

  1. Falconridge, with an average of 14 days on the market
  2. Midnapore, with an average of 18 days on the market
  3. Montgomery, with an average of 19 days on the market
  4. Silver Springs, with an average of 20 days on the market
  5. McKenzie Lake, with an average of 20 days on the market
  6. Mount Pleasant, with an average of 20 days on the market

Falconridge took the top spot, and it also had the lowest median sold price on the list, sitting at $450,000. Mindnapore had the second-lowest median sold price at $529,745.

Homes are flying off the market faster than last month, when MacEwan Glen held the top spot with 19 days on the market. 

On the other end of the list, there are six neighbourhoods in Calgary that are taking upwards of two months to get homes off the market.

Here are the six slowest-selling neighbourhoods in Calgary as of October:

  1. Eau Claire with an average of 80 days on the market
  2. Southwood with an average of 80 days on the market
  3. Saddle Ridge with an average of 80 days on the market
  4. Cityscape with an average of 80 days on the market
  5. Belvedere with an average of 72 days on the market
  6. Pineridge with an average of 72 days on the market

Last month, Pine Creek took the top spot with an average of 101 days on the market. Belvedere had the lowest median sold price on the list, sitting at $330,000, followed by Eau Claire with a median sold price of $355,000.
