“The Ripper” is coming to Calgary – do you have what it takes to solve the murder mystery and save our city?
On Saturday, June 12, CluedUpp is bringing this exciting outdoor detective adventure to YYC via their app. The self-guided game unfolds virtually, giving players the chance to start anytime between 9 am and 2 pm on the day of the event.

Everyone knows who “The Ripper” is, but it seems that a new Ripper is running free in the city – he’s already murdered three men.
Now it’s up to you and your team of detectives to investigate clues across town and solve the case before any more lives are sacrificed to The Ripper!

You’ll need a team of two to six players and at least one smartphone, and you can expect the game to take approximately two hours – although this will vary depending on your detective skills.

On the day of the event, the game is entirely self-guided, so all players have to do is show up at their recommended secret start location!
From there, log into the app and scramble across town to start solving puzzles, interrogating virtual witnesses, and completing challenges. Will you be the first to crack the case?!
Oh, and did we mention prizes? These will be awarded to the fastest team, best detective-inspired costumes, best team picture, best team name, best young detective (“under 16s”), and best K9 (dog’s prize).
