Calgary’s immensely popular Black-Owned Market is planning a second event this month just in time for the holidays.
The first iteration of the market was hosted over the summer and saw lines of people going down the block to partake.

This weekend’s edition will be held virtually, according to a post on the organization’s Instagram page.
“With the rising COVID cases, we will be strictly online. Safety is our number one priority!” The post reads.
“Similar to the previous market, we will be selecting vendors from various categories and promoting them on our Instagram leading up to the market. During the event, we will showcase the various vendors at the website below so everyone can find their holiday gifts in one place.”

The group has begun taking vendor registrations as of Monday, and anyone hoping to register can do so by filling out this form.
The virtual market will run from Friday, November 20 to Sunday, November 22.
