Update: The autopsy confirmed that the body belonged to Stephanie Hodgson.

Police believe that they’ve found the body of Stephanie Hodgson.

A release from the Calgary Police Service states that a body was located in Kananaskis on Tuesday, and though an autopsy has not yet been completed, CPS believes the body to belong to the woman who went missing earlier this week.

An earlier release from the Calgary Police Service detailed the disappearance of Hodgson, who was last seen at Cross Iron Mills Mall at around 5:30 pm on Friday.

She missed a number of scheduled appointments on Saturday and Sunday and she was officially reported missing late Sunday after she, and her vehicle, could not be located by police.

CPS states that an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday morning.

More to come…
