Calgary chicken sandwich spot to open its second location
A new spot specializing in picture-perfect fried chicken sandwiches is set to open in Calgary’s Beltline this month.
Birdie will be taking the exciting step of opening its second location and setting up a shop at the District at Beltline food hall starting on January 18, where it will be serving up its wide selection of crispy chicken sandwiches.
The restaurant, which opened its first outpost in the northwest back in 2023, offers handhelds with flavours that take inspiration from around the world, whether you’re craving something spicy, zesty, or sweet.
Alongside its signature sandwiches, Birdie offers sliders and nuggets, as well as sides like fries, onion rings, butter chicken poutine, and mac salad.
Birdie will be hosting its grand opening on January 18 with giveaways and promos, so stay tuned.
