
The past couple of weeks have seen several severe thunderstorms being fired up across Alberta, prompting heavy rain, tornado warnings, and even some dangerously large hail.
The city of Calgary was placed under extreme thunderstorm watches all throughout June by Environment Canada, and while the current risk of severe weather will be heading into Manitoba according to The Weather Network, the looming threat for non-severe thunderstorms will continue to linger in Alberta as well as Saskatchewan.

This, however, hasn’t stopped determined storm chasers from snapping some spectacular photos of cloud formations, natural phenomenons, and ominously beautiful horizons.
