We’re sure you’ve seen these things before, but never really thought they were real.

Because, come on, a giant inflatable obstacle course big enough for adults to jump around on? That’s something straight out of a sun-induced fever dream.

But it’s totally real, and you can totally go there.

The Sylvan Lake Aqua Splash is a gigantic floating fortress complete with a 15-foot tower, a climbing wall, a launch bag, a trapeze swing, and basically anything else you could ever imagine.

Located, as the name suggests, on Sylvan Lake, the aqua park can be found just west of Red Deer, meaning that it is only an hour and a half drive from Calgary for a full day of fun on the lake.

The park is expected to open for its preseason for a few weekends in mid-June before officially opening for the season on June 28.

Hours for the weekends of June 15 to 16 and 22 to 23 will be noon to 6 pm, and then from 11 am to 8 pm between June 30 and September 2.

Admission to the park is $15 for one hour for all ages, though you can save some cash by purchasing a half day (entry from 4 to 8 pm) for $25 per person or a full day for $35.

Savings are also available for youth, group rates, early bird hours, twilight hours, and group rates. Check their website for more information.
