Popular Filipino restaurant is opening a new Calgary location next month

A popular Calgary restaurant, known for its Filipino street food and sweet treats, is opening a new location in the city next month.
Amihan Grill + Bakeshop has revealed that next month, it’ll be heading south, opening a new location at 7516 Macleod Trl. SE.
The spot is known for its street food dishes, such as Lumpia, hot dogs on a stick and fish balls, served with spiced vinegar and sweet-sour sauce.

Amihan serves up a ton of larger plates, including BBQ pork ribs, Grill Pusit (scallion-stuffed squid), bowls such as Beef Caldereta and Pinoy Spaghetti or handhelds including its Longga burger with a pork longganisa patty, slaw, sriracha ranch, mango dressing, and onion tanglers, all served up on a home-baked pandesal roll.
Don’t miss out on the sweets either, with everything from ube cake to Turon (banana wontons) to round off your meal.
Aminhan will be opening its newest location in February.
