The 11-year-long investigation into the 2008 shooting of Allan Teather has just seen some developments.

The case was jump-started this August when 34-year-old Brian Cheng was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, and police have apprehended four additional suspects in the weeks since.

One person was taken into custody in Vancouver on August 29 — and has since been questioned and released pending further investigation — and now two additional suspects have been taken in for questioning.

Details on the new suspect’s alleged involvement in the homicide, which saw Teather shot and killed in a condo parkade on January 9, 2008, will not be released until official charges are laid.

“All unsolved homicide investigations remain open and our unit continues to investigate these files in hopes of bringing justice to families of victims,” said Staff Sergeant Colin Chisholm in an earlier release.

“No matter how much time has passed, we are dedicated to holding people accountable for these crimes.”
