Western Canada has been blessed with Mother Natureās light show several times recently, and an aurora borealis display was spotted in Alberta skies again last night.
Residents reported seeing northern lights in the province overnight and in the early hours of Thursday, November 4. Some Calgarians even saw the aurora borealis right over the city, which can be rare due to light pollution — so you know it must’ve been a good show.
While most were sleeping, some Albertans were lucky enough to spot the incredible display of colours, with green, purple, and teal light seen dancing across the sky.
Northern lights chasers took to social media to share stunning pictures of the aurora borealis.
