Two men will be walking the distance between Medicine Hat, Alberta to Calgary, in the span of a weekend to raise money for the community’s medivac helicopter.

John Digman, Chair of the Alberta Construction Safety Association’s Medicine Hat Regional Safety Committee (ACSA MHRSC) and Vice-Chair Jason Wheeler are committing to the 40-hour, 300 km walk on treadmills.

HALO is Southeast Alberta’s only medivac rescue helicopter and depends on private events and community fundraisers such as this one for financial support.

The walk starts on May 25 and ends on Sunday, May 27 at the reception of the Medicine Hat Family Leisure Centre.

Swing by and say hello to the duo, and feel free to leave a donation at the event or on their GoFundMe page.
