Dr. Deena Hinshaw to provide COVID-19 update this afternoon

Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health will provide a live update on COVID-19 Monday afternoon.

A release from the Province of Alberta notes that Dr. Deena Hinshaw will hold a livestreamed press conference at 3:30 pm MST to update the province on the work being done to protect public health.

The province reported 543 new COVID-19 cases and 14 virus-related deaths on January 29.

To date, Alberta has now seen 124,208 cases and 1,639 deaths since the pandemic began in March 2020.
