Alberta Cross Calgary 2016 concert at The Gateway

Dec 19 2017, 11:18 am

Anglo-Swedish rock band Alberta Cross is coming to Calgary, playing the Gateway at SAIT on May 12.

The tour is promoting the band’s self-titled third album, recorded at Dreamland, a former church, now studio, and marks a departure from their previous record contracts.

“This is soulful, untouched music coming purely from the artist,” says sole official member, Petter Ericson Stakee.

“They can love it or hate it, but at least they can’t complain that I’ve been changed by anyone. This is what I want to do. I made my record. No one told me to make it this way. I’m 100 percent responsible for it. Take it or leave it. But, I love you for listening to it.”

Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. local time this Friday, April 8 at Ticketmaster.
