Chalk up another major achievement for Air Canada.

Canada’s largest airline was recently ranked as the 15th most tech-friendly in the world, by Traveloka.

The list of airlines was gathered from the 2018 Skytrax World Airline Awards (where Air Canada ranked first, for the second year in a row). Information to help create the ranking was gathered from the airlines’ official websites, as well as other informational travel sites.

“Facilities listed against each airline represent the facilities available in economy class on at least one type of aircraft in use by the airline, and were correct as of June 2018,” Traveloka explains on the ranking.

Each airline was given a score out of 100, which consisted of three major categories: WiFi, power, and connectedness.

To further break it down, WiFi was judged on availability, speed, and cost; power was judged on in-seat availability and a USB port; connectedness was ranked on the ability to send text messages, make phone calls, or watch live TV.

The top three ranking airlines were Qatar Airways, who scored 92.3; Emirates, who scored 88.4; and Delta Air Lines, who scored 85.7.

Air Canada received a score of 71.9 out of 100. WestJet placed 28th on the list with a score of 56.7. Air Transat, another prominent Canadian airline, was nowhere to be found on the list.
