
The Calgary Police Service is trying to locate the vehicle responsible for a hit and run on Monday.
A release from the service states that police responded to reports of a collision at the 0 to 100 block of Deerfield Villas SE at around 10:40 am on Monday, June 22.
A 17-month-old girl had been injured with potentially life-threatening injuries during the collision, and the offending vehicle had driven off.

Police noted in the release that the driver of the dark-coloured, possibly green SUV may have been unaware of the collision.
