Get ready for a walk in a winter wonderland because Greater Victoria’s biggest free holiday light display is officially returning for the season.
Lights of Wonder, presented by the Downtown Victoria Business Association (DVBA), will be delighting visitors with hundreds of thousands of lights from Saturday, November 30, to Tuesday, December 31.
This year’s event at Centennial Square will also feature live entertainment, free horse-drawn trolley rides, and the return of a fan-favourite massive Ferris wheel.

“Everyone is welcome to come down to Centennial Square and enjoy our magical holiday wonderland and take a selfie under the canopy of lights,” said DVBA online.
You’ll be filled with holiday cheer as you stroll through themed light exhibits, sparkling tunnels, and a giant 40-foot Christmas tree that’s perfect for your holiday photos.

Live entertainment will be available every Friday and Saturday, including local musicians, lion dancers, a photo booth, and even a silent disco. Nightly performances will begin on December 20, which is also when the Ferris wheel begins operating.
Guests can ride for free (by donation) daily from December 20 to 31, starting at 4 pm. It’s the perfect way to see all of the holiday lights from high up above.
