Feast your eyes on Vancouver Island's largest display of holiday trees this season 

Oh, come all ye faithful to a wonderful and whimsical display of Christmas trees! The exciting Festival of Trees Victoria is back for 2024, and this year it’s a special occasion.

For the first time ever, the Bay Centre is overseeing the production of Festival of Trees in support of BC Children’s Hospital Foundation!

It’s a beloved family tradition that has been around for over 30 years and brings the community together with local Victoria businesses.

With over 90 holiday trees displayed across three levels of the Bay Centre, it’s truly a holiday forest come to life. On display now until January 5, it’s the perfect chance to enjoy some free seasonal fun and support a worthwhile cause.

To make it even more festive, visitors can enjoy the Festival of Trees Victoria for a Tour & Dine experience by visiting one of the many restaurants at the Bay Centre, including Earls Kitchen + Bar which has a Happy Hour menu every day!

Or, tune into a special holiday playlist created especially for visitors to enjoy while taking in the trees — available on the Bay Centre site.

After dark and quieter visits

Visiting the trees after dark is the best time to see them in full glory, illuminated against the night sky. If you’re looking for a quieter tour, head down to the Bay Centre after dark on the weekdays, which is typically less busy.

Since the Bay Centre started hosting the annual display in 2015, it has generated over $1.4 million, raising important funds and care at BC Children’s Hospital. You can help out too by making a donation using QR codes next to each tree or voting for your favourite online!

It’s time to partake in a beloved tradition this season! Festival of Trees Victoria is open daily during Bay Centre shopping hours (except for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day) and free parking is available after 4 pm on weekdays.
