Cirque du Soleil offering big discounts for 'Crystal' Victoria tickets in new sale

Cirque du Soleil’s first-ever acrobatic ice show is coming to Victoria in May, and fans can snap up seats at a big discount, but only for a limited time.

The internationally acclaimed acrobatic circus will return to the city with Crystal from May 8 to 18 at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

To celebrate the upcoming Mother’s Day, Cirque du Soleil announced that it is offering up to 30 per cent off tickets for performances and seats in a new sale from April 29 to May 12.

Crystal by Cirque du Soleil has entertained more than two million people in over 145 cities worldwide. The “exhilarating journey of self-discovery full of whimsy and wonder” features seven thrilling traditional circus acts adapted to the unique frozen stage.

The first Cirque production to use real snow will showcase banquine, aerial straps, hand-to-trapeze, juggling, hand balancing and more during each performance.

Fans will also enjoy larger-than-life visual projections on ice and an energizing soundtrack that blends popular music with the signature sounds of Cirque du Soleil.
