As the bomb cyclone wreaks havoc across Vancouver Island, the region is experiencing some of the strongest winds of the season, with gusts reaching up to 170 km/h in some areas.
Heavy rainfall, powerful winds, and widespread highway closures have led to travel advisories, urging residents to stay off the roads.
To keep track of this intense storm (while staying safe inside), you can watch livestreams of the action from locations like Tofino’s Cox Bay and Long Beach, as well as Victoria’s Ross Bay. For the locations in Tofino, you may even catch some surfers out there.
