There’s no need to feel crabby — the BC CrabFest is returning to Victoria next month and there’s plenty for the whole family to enjoy.

The festivities take place at Ship Point in the city’s Inner Harbour on Sunday, June 29, from noon to 7 p.m. Admission to the festival is by donation at the gate, with attendees enjoying live music, kids’ activities, an interactive educational market, and more.

Foodies can treat themselves to delicious B.C. Dungeness CrabBoil Buckets stuffed

“This festival is a celebration of our coastal culture and community and the incredible fishing families, like mine, who make it possible,” said Heather MacLeod, President of BC Crab Co., event founder and organizer of B.C. CrabFest.”

“We’re creating an unforgettable experience that blends delicious seafood with the vibrant culture of our community.”

BC CrabFest is funded by Buy BC, a program that promotes B.C. food and beverage products to consumers across the province.

There will be multiple Crab Boil sessions happening throughout the day, and guests can choose a one-hour pickup window to avoid lines while keeping things hot and fresh.

Your ticket will get you one pound of irresistible B.C. Dungeness crab, seasonal mussels, B.C. prawns, corn, and potatoes, all served in overflowing personal-sized buckets. Diners will also enjoy signature seasoning, fresh bread, and melted Canadian butter.

The B.C. CrabBoil buckets can be purchased online in advance to ensure you don’t miss out on the feast. Limited quantities will be available for purchase on-site.
