Share your savings secrets to win $2500 from direct bank, Zag

When it comes to putting aside money for a rainy day or retirement, some people just seem to be better at saving than others. But now a new direct bank is levelling the playing field by making it easier to penny-pinch.

To encourage savers to share their tips and tricks, Zag is hosting an installation in West Vancouver’s Park Royal shopping centre on January 30 and 31. Participants can share their savings secrets, whether it means buying in bulk, going on off-season vacations or any other frugal favourites. 

Every person who records a saving secret by visiting the Zag-branded installation and sharing it on social media (Facebook or Twitter) will be entered into a local draw to win $2,500.

Improve your chances of winning by using the hashtags #SaveWithZag and #ZagBuzz along with a selfie standing in front or within view of the Zag installation to win $250 from Vancity Buzz.

To enter to win the contests:

1.  Stop by the Zag installation in Park Royal on January 30 or January 31.

2. Record a Savings Secrets video at the Zag installation for a chance to win $2,500. Contest Rules

3. Take a selfie in front of the Zag installation and upload it to your personal Facebook or Twitter account with the hashtags #SaveWithZag and #ZagBuzz for a chance to win $250 from Vancity Buzz.

Contest entries will be accepted for as long as the Zag installation is active. One winner will be chosen at random and contacted through the platform they use to enter.

Don’t worry, if you’re unable to make it out to the Park Royal shopping centre, you’ll still have a chance to win $2,500 by tweeting a Savings Secret with the hashtag #SaveWithZag or commenting on a post on Zag’s Facebook page from February 15-29.
