YouTube celebrity, video blogger and entrepreneur Philip DeFranco is coming to Vancouver for two shows on February 28 and March 1, 2014.

DeFranco runs some of YouTube’s most successful channels, including his original 2006-launched ‘sxephil’ channel where he produces and hosts The Philip DeFranco Show on current events. To date, it has clocked 3.1+ million subscribers and nearly 1.2 billion video views.

He also created several spinoff news, politics and humour channels, with the main SourceFed channel attaining the most popularity with 1.2+ million subscribers and nearly 500 million views since it was first opened in 2011. In May 2013, Discovery Communications (Discovery Channel) purchased his entire collection of channels.

Rumours are swirling that 2014 could be DeFranco’s last year as a full-time YouTube personality given that he is now a husband and father.
