[UPDATED] Young woman dead after fatal hit and run in Burnaby

UPDATE: Two arrests have been made in connection with the hit and run. A 25-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman have been arrested in Creston, B.C.

A young woman has died after a two-car accident in Burnaby that RCMP say was a hit-and-run.

Global News is reporting 25-year-old Emily Sheane was driving in a red Toyota along Willingdon and Deer Lake Parkway just after midnight when a dark-coloured Range Rover ran a red light and slammed into her.

Mounties say it appears the Range Rover was “fraudulently obtained”, but few details are being released.
