Young pedestrian in serious condition following East Vancouver collision

A young pedestrian was rushed to hospital early this morning after being hit by a vehicle in East Vancouver.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. on the intersection of Commercial Drive and East 1st Avenue.

The victim is reportedly a 25-year-old man and is in serious condition. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the collision and is cooperating with Vancouver Police.
