You can now get all holiday essentials (and more) delivered in two hours

Time is more precious than ever during the holiday season, as gift-buying, grocery shopping, party hosting, and simply getting around town become a juggling act that can feel far from festive.

But, keeping Canadians in a merry mood this year, Walmart Canada’s Online Grocery Delivery and Pickup Services offer the gift of convenience and ease, bringing all the essentials — and nice-to-have items as well — right to your doorstep.

And all in as little as two hours (for a fee of $14.97, applicable to select locations only).

Customers can shop on walmart.ca or via the app to take advantage of delivery services on any grocery order that’s more than $35. In terms of fees, express two-hour delivery is $14.97 (excluding certain postal codes), same-day delivery is $12.97, and standard delivery is $9.97.

The service can be used to shop Walmart Canada’s wide selection of groceries, purchase last-minute entertaining needs, or take care of gift-giving for everyone on the list.

Customers can shop beauty products, toys, apparel, cookware, and electronics all in one spot — and from the comfort of their favourite holiday PJs, should they so desire. In one site visit, customers can purchase a video game for their nephew, new guest bedroom sheets for the in-laws, holiday decorations for the yard, and even a festive new lipstick for themselves — why not rep a bold red?

Naturally, this saves time to revel in all of the holiday festivities without the season becoming synonymous with stress (because we’ve all had our fair share of that this year, thank you).

Aside from the stress-free and convenience factors, Walmart Canada is easy on the wallet, offering everyday low prices on the wide variety of items housed in its sprawling stores.

Who else hates getting out of the car when it’s a torrential downpour outside to head into the grocery store? Keeping with the theme of convenience, Walmart Canada has a service where they bring groceries right to the trunk of your car. All you have to do is check in on their mobile app — goodbye sprinting through the doors of the store faster than you’ve ever run before.

And for those with places to be (again this is a busy time), there’s free four-hour pick-up on orders of $35 or more (before taxes and fees) at select stores. Please note, this excludes Penguin Pickup locations. You can find more of the details here.
