Yoga with the Vancouver Aquarium's Beluga Whales

Dec 19 2017, 4:39 pm

Well, not literally. But the Vancouver Aquarium is excited to offer a unique experience to stretch, strengthen and breathe into a more peaceful state of body and mind in the Aquarium’s Canada’s Arctic Gallery.

Accompanied by the Aquarium’s beluga whales, Qila and Aurora, you will enjoy the serenity of the underwater beluga exhibit while doing yoga. This gentle Hatha yoga class is for all levels and will include “no-sweat” variations of movement/postures for beginners to advanced levels.

Come join the Aquarium for this incredible opportunity to see just how inquisitive and calming belugas are as their presence supports you into finding your own stillness and calm. Beginners are welcome.

Celeste Lyon is certified in Yoga and Pilates and has been studying yoga, pilates and dance for over 12 years. She loves bringing people of all ages and physical abilities to find their own path of peace and openness through these wonderful disciplines. Her goal is simple: to make you feel great in your body, more peaceful in your mind and happier for having come to class.
