From January 31 to February 3 2013, BC Place will be hosting a four day Chinese New Year cultural Expo. This event will consist not only of Chinese-oriented attractions, but will also include highlights from other Asian cultures that celebrate the lunar new year.
The Expo of this scale is the perfect destination for families and friends for some New Year shopping, festive foods and impressive entertainments all day, every day. Come along with friends and families and stroll along the beautiful streets of cherry blossom trees, fortune trees, 20-foot tall bamboos illuminated with lanterns and larger-than-life character lanterns. Year of the Snake Expo 2013 will have an extensive list of entertaining elements such as: multicultural foods, services, merchandise, amusement rides, water-walking ball pool, charity gaming, a gazebo with fortune telling and wish-making trees.
Celebrities from Asia have been cordially invited and will be flying in to perform exclusively for our Expo. One of the major components of the Expo is the sensational shows, demonstrations and competitions on the 40’ x 36’ stage throughout the daytime and evenings.
