Several businesses in Vancouver’s Yaletown neighbourhood went dark Monday afternoon, and BC Hydro is investigating why.

Their outage map shows two power outages affecting approximately 480 customers in Yaletown as of 12:30 pm.

Crews have been assigned to the outages, but it’s not yet known what caused them or when the electricity will come back.

The larger outage is affecting 468 customers and a smaller one is affecting 10 customers, according to BC’s utility provider.
