The world’s first Bitcoin ATM was successfully installed this afternoon at Wave’s Cafe at Howe and Smithe in Vancouver.

It is ready to begin exchanging Bitcoin for cash tomorrow at 9 a.m. A large crowd of media personnel and curious onlookers are expected to visit the cafe over the course of the day.

“It’s all set up and ready to go,” says Bitcoiniacs co-founder Mitchell Demeter. “Tomorrow is going to be a great day.”

Jordon Kelley, CEO of Robocoin, made the trip up from Nevada to oversee the installation and is looking forward to what happens next. “All systems go. We’re ready.”
