The best dance teams and battle dancers from all over the world are getting ready to compete at the fifth annual World of Dance Vancouver 2015 Qualifier at the Croatian Cultural Centre on Saturday, July 11.
Presented by Mission Of Care Association, celebrity performances include WilldaBeast, KayKay Harris, Ricky Cole, CJ Pharside, Bgirl Shorty, Travis Lim, David Forteau, Bboy Morris, J.Black and Prepix Haw.
Featuring a variety of attractions like food stands, apparel vendors and the Showdown Throwdown Streetdance Battle competition, this all-ages event is expecting over 2,000 attendees.
There will also be a special Meet & Greet for dancers and spectators to meet the celebrity judges and an opportunity to take a special World of Dance Vancouver workshop and learn from some of the best in the industry.
Prizes for the competitors
- Upper Division Prizes – $4,500 total
- Youth Division Prizes – $3,000 total
- 2vs2 B-Boy – $1,000 grand prize
- 1vs1 All Style – $500 grand prize
- 1vs1 Hip Hop – $500 grand prize
The top scoring teams will receive the opportunity to compete in Los Angeles in the first ever World Of Dance Finals, against the best of the best.
