World of Dance Tour Invades Vancouver (Contest)

This Saturday Vancouver will play host to Canada’s first ever World of Dance Tour at the UBC War Memorial Gym & Student Rec. Centre.

The World of Dance Tour is the largest International Urban Dance Competition taking place in 14 major markets across the globe. With focus on the art of street dancing and today’s new aged choreography, World of Dance is the largest touring event embracing Urban Dance and Youth Lifestyle. The World’s top dancers, hundreds of participants, and thousands of spectators will partake in performance festival settings, awarding today’s top dancer’s with the most prestigious acknowledgments. The World of Dance Tour promises to deliver an unparalleled experience to both participants and spectators in effort to build the reputation as the global authority in Urban Dance and Lifestyle.


As a dancer, The World of Dance experience fuses together free standing competitions involving multiple formats of “urban” dance. Whether you are a versed choreography team, a competitive duet, or a free styling dance individual, The World of Dance Tour has a competition for you. Our competition strategy lends itself to each market’s unique formats of dance. Choreography, Break Dancing, Krumping and Housing are only a few of the styles represented at a World of Dance event.

As a spectator, The World of Dance not only features localized and globally renowned urban dancers, but also features several entertainment zones creating a unique lifestyle experience.
