Calling all literature enthusiasts, Word Vancouver returns this month.
Western Canada’s largest literary festival runs from September 19 to 27 and will feature 140 authors and 50 events.
The festival aims to bring authors and readers together to share stories, books, and points-of-view.

“This has been a tough year for everyone, and Festival organizers hope by providing this extensive, free online programming that they can offer connection and inspire creativity for everyone in the community,” notes Word Vancouver in a release.

This year’s programming has been curated by Bonnie Nish, Word Vancouver’s executive director, and Betsy Warland (LGBTQ2S+ programs) and Russell Wallace (Indigenous program). There will be a number of workshops, discussions, and readings.
