Women's World Cup 2015 final to be played in Vancouver

Vancouver’s iconic BC Place Stadium will play host to the gold-medal game for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Montreal and Edmonton will host semifinal games of the tournament that runs June 6 to July 5 in six Canadian cities.

The Canadians will open group play in Edmonton.

In total, 52 matches will be played over 30 days with games also scheduled for Winnipeg, Ottawa and Moncton.

The 2015 World Cup will feature 24 countries for the first time in the tournament’s history.
