Women’s Speakers Series supports women’s shelter with eco-friendly beauty

Dec 19 2017, 10:46 pm

All Things Being Eco and Viva Health Skincare have teamed together to host a Women’s Speakers Series in support of the Ann Davis Transition Society – a local women’s shelter in Chilliwack.

The Women’s Speakers Series will hear from a number of female entrepreneurs, spa owners and green-beauty experts about the importance of eco-friendly skincare and the impact of health products on our skin and the environment. Another highlight will be door prizes as well as skincare analyses, makeovers, hand massages and a fashion show.

Women in the community are invited to attend and contribute a non-perishable item that will be donated to the Ann Davis Transition Society. The Society has served the Chilliwack community for over 36 years and provides shelter and support for women and children affected by domestic abuse. It offers many different programs and is working towards a community free from violence.

“It really does take a community to support its most vulnerable and give them the opportunity to rise above their challenges”, says Jessie Marwaha, Viva Health Skincare’s Regional Sales Manager and co-organizer of the event.

“It is my belief that women should support one another and remind each other to believe in themselves too.”
