Police are investigating after a young woman was sexually assaulted and attacked in her Westside home Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred 6 a.m. Wednesday at a home in the area of West 22nd Ave. and Macdonald St. A 21-year-old woman was asleep in her bed when she awoke to a stranger on top of her attempting to assault her.
