Young woman seriously injured after early morning Burnaby crash: RCMP

A 23-year-old woman has been left with serious injuries following an early morning collision in Burnaby, says RCMP.

According to a release, Burnaby RCMP Frontline officers responded to a report of a crash at the intersection of Second Street and 10th Avenue in Burnaby at 4:35 am Tuesday morning.

Two vehicles were involved, and police remain on scene to determine what events led up to the incident.

The young woman was taken from the scene and faces “serious life threatening injuries,” says RCMP.

The two occupants from the other vehicle were transported to hospital and have since been released.
