Robson Square had a snowboard ramp installed recently for Winter Squared a 3 day festival that celebrates the best snowboarding culture has to offer at Vancouver’s Robson Square (aka GE Plaza). If that doesn’t float your boat then might I suggest a free skate at the newly renovated ice rink at Robson Square. I’ve been there a few times, trust me even if you can’t skate you’ll have a blast!
Winter Squared, a free event being held at Vancouver’s GE Plaza at Robson Square this weekend, will feature three days of snowboarding, music, and fashion at the newly renovated GE Plaza at Robson Square.
Live music acts to include, Keys N Krates, Love and Elektrik, KayMuzik, Let¹s Go To War, The Good News, The Japandroids, The New Royales, and The Styrofoam Ones. Winter fashion shows presented by Showcase Snowboard, Surf and Skate, The Boardroom, The Quiksilver Store, and the Billabong Store. The mountain comes into the city when snowboarders take to the stairs of Robson Square for daily rail competitions. The interactive video game arcade will feature winter sport games that appeal to people of all ages. The public skating rink will also be open during the event.
