Drivers heading to or from Whistler tonight are reminded to be properly prepared for winter driving conditions on the Sea-to-Sky Highway. More snow is in the forecast.

According to Environment Canada, a Pacific frontal system will spread  to Whistler and the Sea to Sky Highway, between Squamish and Whistler tonight.

The result, the agency said, is a forecasted snowfall amount of up to 15 cm between Squamish and Whistler.

Those travelling the route are advised to prepare for “quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.”

Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult and visibility will be reduced as well.
