The event last year was successful at raising over $20,000 for the charity and the goal for this year is to raise $35,000.

The charity supported by the Winners Circle is known as the New Stride Thoroughbred Adoption Society, a foundation that aims to ensure that all noncompetitive and injured Thoroughbred racehorses gets taken care of and placed in an adoptive home. This charity educates volunteers in caring, maintaining, handling and retraining the horses. The charity provides an alternative for horse owners who can no longer take care of their horses.

If you want to spend a day at the races in your best outfit, as well as mingle and support a great cause, make sure to get your tickets as they are running out.

Also, if you want to play a bigger part in supporting this event, Winners Circle is looking for sponsorships and silent auction items.

The Event will be held on July 14 (Sunday) at the Marquee Tent at the Hastings Racecourse

Gates open at 1:30 p.m. and the first race starts at 1:50 p.m.

Tickets are $65
