Grown-ups only summer camp (with booze) coming to B.C. this summer

Many of us have fond memories of summer camp adventures from when we were kids, and now you can relive the fun as an adult, thanks to an organization called Wild Rumpus.

Wild Rumpus will take over a child’s summer camp on Gambier Island “and stock it full of booze” for the Canada Day long weekend. You’ll get the full camp experience, including sleeping in cabins, eating in a dining hall, ziplining, kayaking, and rock climbing, but with themed parties, live music, and an open bar.

“Being that everyone there is going to be old enough to take care of themselves, you can expect to be given the freedom to participate in whatever is going to make the weekend fun for you,” reads the website.

The camp can hold up to 200 campers and is open to anyone over the age of 19. Everything is included in the set price of $435, from your bunk, to meals, to alcohol.
