The Vancouver Whitecaps found out the details of their schedule for the 2016-17 CONCACAF Champions League this year today.
The Blue and White will travel to Ato Boldon Stadium in Trinidad & Tobago for an August 2 match against Central FC. The Whitecaps will then play a home-and-home with Sporting KC before rounding out the group stage on September 28.

The Whitecaps qualified for the CONCACAF Champions League last season, by virtue of winning the Amway Canadian Championship against Montreal. The Whitecaps will have a chance to qualify for next year’s tournament on Wednesday, when they play Toronto FC in this year’s final.
