Vancouver Whitecaps kicking it old school with '80s night at BC Place

The Vancouver Whitecaps are kicking it old school this week.
Wednesday is ’80s night at BC Place, which will see the Whitecaps unveil their Vancouver 86ers-inspired uniforms, against the Houston Dynamo.
The blue and yellow Archive Kit features a vibrant Vancouver logo on the front, which is hugged by the Pacific Dogwood flower.
If you want to rock the same colours as the Whitecaps this week at BC Place, jerseys, T-shirts and hats will be for sale at the game. The colourful kits are also available for purchase online.
And, if you’re among the first 2,000 fans to show up on Wednesday, you’ll get a free headband, modelled below by Hal Johnson and Joanne McLeod.
Keep fit and have fun! Thanks, Joanne and Hal! πͺπ

Getting to the game early also allows you to visit the beer garden, which opens at 5:30 p.m.
Check out the $5 menu at sections 201 and 227, which feature beer, hot dogs, popcorn, and nachos at a low price.
First place in the Western Conference is on the line, as the Whitecaps have a two-point lead over second-place Houston.
The Whitecaps have an additional BC Place match this weekend, against FC Dallas, another squad currently holding down a playoff spot. That match kicks off at 6:30 p.m., meaning the beer garden will open up at 4:30 p.m. The first 2,000 fans will get a Recycle BC player cup.
Fans have shown up for the Whitecaps all season long, and Daily Hive has confirmed that over 20,000 tickets have been sold for each match.
Attendance has been strong this season for the Whitecaps, who drew over 40,000 fans to BC Place in their last MLS home match against LAFC.
Tickets are available for both matches via the Whitecaps Ticketmaster page.
