The Vancouver Whitecaps keep making history.

Today, Major League Soccer announced the rosters for the 2025 MLS All-Star Game, set to take place next month against All-Stars from Mexico’s top soccer league, LIGA MX.

The game, which will take place on Wednesday, July 23, in Charlotte, N.C., will feature four Whitecaps players, the first time in team history they have sent more than one selection to the annual event.

Midfielder Sebastian Berhalter, defender Tristan Blackmon, goalkeeper Yohei Takaoka, and forward Brian White will be taking the field for the MLS squad. All four players are making their MLS All-Star Game debuts.

Despite a tough loss in the CONCACAF Champions Cup final, the Whitecaps have lost just twice in MLS play this season, and are sitting atop the Western Conference with 35 points through 17 matches.

“This is a great testament to what we have done together as a group, and the recognition is a reflection of the team’s overall performance,” said Whitecaps FC head coach Jesper Sørensen in a release. “It’s a proud moment for the individuals selected, exciting time for the club, and we are focused on building on this success.”
