White Spot Dunsmuir Street to be chain's largest restaurant, opens August 21

White Spot is set to open a two-storey flagship restaurant on Thursday, August 21 in the 100+ year-old heritage building located at the intersection of Dunsmuir and Homer Streets.

The 8,290-square-foot, 249 seat location will be the chain’s largest restaurant and replaces the now-closed location at Seymour and West Georgia, the site of TELUS Garden, just two blocks away.

“We’re excited to reintroduce ourselves to the downtown Vancouver core with our largest location. Our Dunsmuir White Spot will provide a new hub for business lunches, after-work socializing and for those attending local events to enjoy a delicious meal,” said White Spot president Warren Erhart in a statement.

“At White Spot guests can enjoy our great tasting craveable food at breakfast, lunch, dinner or late-night, in a comfortable atmosphere where they can feel at home.”

Like its other locations, the flagship restaurant features a contemporary West Coast design, wood finishings, and high top bar, booth and bench seating. The main floor is designed as a bar lounge, suitable for after-work drinks and appetizers as well as before and after local sports events or concerts.

There are thirteen big screen televisions to catch the game, in addition to an expanded wine and local craft beer and cider menu.
