After a Canada-wide warrant was issued for his arrest and an arrest was made, a White Rock dance teacher has been released from custody on conditions.
On Feb. 12, 2026, the BC Prosecution Service laid several charges against Nigel Brock Jellison, also known as Brock Jellison.
In 2021, the White Rock RCMP received a report of a historical sexual assault involving the teacher and a student at a dance studio in White Rock.
As the RCMP investigated, additional victims, who were all youths at the time of the alleged offences, were identified.
“Investigators subsequently submitted a Report to Crown Counsel to the BC Prosecution Service for charge assessment,” RCMP said.
Jellison now faces five counts of sexual assault and one count of sexual exploitation.
“These charges relate to alleged offences involving four victims between 2006 and 2011. There is a publication ban protecting victim identity,” RCMP said.
Jellison was arrested in Magrath, Alta., by the White Rock RCMP, with the assistance of Raymond/Magrath RCMP, on April 15, 2026.
He was released while awaiting his next court appearance. Because of the historical nature of the allegations, police won’t be identifying the business. Based on the investigation, the RCMP believes that Jellison was recently teaching in Alberta.
“We believe there may be people within our community who were taught by Brock Jellison or attended the local dance studio who have information and have not yet spoken with police,” said RCMP Detachment Commander Sergeant Rob Dixon in a statement.
“We are asking anyone with information to contact the RCMP at 778‑545‑4800.”
