Surreal 8-minute time lapse shows Whistler's true natural beauty (VIDEO)
Whistler photographer and hiking enthusiast David McColm has created one of the best B.C. time lapse videos ever – no exaggeration.
Over a period of 3 years, McColm filmed Whistler’s peaks and its jaw-droppingly beautiful mountain and lake surroundings. Capturing the surreal footage required countless difficult hikes, sleepless nights in the cold and untold frames.
The 8-minute time lapse video was mostly filmed in 4K, with every frame shot RAW, and it features sunrises, moonrises, moonrise silhouettes, Northern Lights, fog and cloud movement, and the mesmerizing movement of the starry Milky Way over the night skies.
